Fithian completes MBA program

Jamie Fithian, daughter of Jerry and Carol Fithian of McPherson, completed the requirements for the masters in business administration/ accounting degree at Oral Roberts University, Tulsa, Okla.

Jamie Fithian, daughter of Jerry and Carol Fithian of McPherson, completed the requirements for the masters in business administration/ accounting degree at Oral Roberts University, Tulsa, Okla., in April and participated in commencement exercises May 3.

She completed the rigorous requirements for her MBA with a 150-page, 70-slide presentation on Callaway Golf.
A member of the 2002 McPherson High School class, she participated for four years on the Division I ORU women’s basketball team, (earning postseason NCAA berths twice), participated in numerous camps and clinics, and was in the accounting club, while maintaining a 4.0 grade point average all six years.
Fithian began her employment this summer with Bishop Kelly High School in Tulsa, with camp activities in her role as assistant girls basketball coach. She will also work in the school’s business office.
Over the summer, she managed the swimming facilities at the prestigious Meadow Brook Country Club after having served as a lifeguard the past two years.
She will also instruct a graduate-level accounting course for ORU this fall.
