Will Haiti ever come out of poverty?

After the January 2010 earthquake Haiti has become one of the most publicized country. The world sympathized with Haitians by giving - or promising - tremendous amount of money in the shape of donations. Critics say that the poorest country in the western hemisphere should take advantage of this catastrophe to take at least a step forward.
