MBA Job Posting: Head of UK Campaigns for Oxfam

Salary: c.£40,000 - £50,000
Location: Oxford, London
Local change, global voice.
At Oxfam we’ve been working for over 65 years to ease poverty and suffering across the world. Our global projects in areas such as Health, Trade, Livelihoods and Humanitarian Assistance are extremely high profile. But what’s less well known is that our campaign agenda has become a crucial way of achieving change across all these areas – and more. Our campaigning focuses on the policies of governments, and how they need to shift radically to achieve lasting positive change for the lives of those living in poverty.
Campaigning in the UK is vital, so we’re looking for someone to oversee all of our national work. Reporting to the Director of Campaigns, you will work with colleagues across Oxfam, leading on the development and delivery of a strong UK Campaigns Strategy. You will build on our passionate activism and land campaigns that have real impact across the UK. Together we will ensure that Oxfam’s priority issues are given a cohesive and positive voice to mobilise supporters and influence change at the very highest levels.
You don’t have to come from the NGO sector, but you will have a proven track record in strategic management and implementation of large-scale campaigns and activist movements. Alongside this you will have excellent leadership, relationship-building and influencing skills and be able to offer insight into how we effect political and social change. Above all, you will have a real commitment to, and passion for, the aims and values of Oxfam.
For further information please contact Oxfam’s recruitment partner The Perrett Laver Partnership by email: Oxfam@perrettlaver.com or by post: 44 Hertford Street, London W1J 7DP, quoting reference 0300.
The closing date for applications is midday on Wednesday 27 February.
