MBA Job Opening: Director of Transmission at Ofgem - London, UK
Salary: £95,000 plus bonus

The new managing director of networks, Steve Smith, is looking to appoint a Director of Transmission, responsible for developing and implementing ofgem's regulatory framework for transmission, directing a core team of about 30 people. As a member of the Networks' senior management team, you will work at the highest levels within and outside the organization, be able to represent Ofgem in the media and engage and influence a wide range of senior stakeholders across the energy sector, in multinationals, government bodies and consumer groups.
Known from first rate analytical, intellectual and communication skills, you are likely to have worked as an economist, consultant or analyst, be accustomed to advising at board level, and ideally have some change or programme management experience and strategic leadership potential. You will also have the ability to motivate a team of committed, highly-qualified professionals. You will bring good knowledge of networks (energy sector experience is not essential) and a passion for making them work better.
